Abstract: The Internet of China developed rapidly in recent years. Related researches and discussions have been made on the Internet development by academies and industries. The paper was written by combining quantitative and qualitative perspective. The Internet development trending index of China was calculated and forecasted using the following sub-indexes: Netizens, the number of IPv4 addresses, the number of sites, international bandwidth and network application status. Finally, implications for research were pointed out on the practical level.
